Adopt-a-Pet: Denver

Denver

Denver, a beautiful 1-year-old male Husky mix, is a goofy boy who behaves well enough to go to shelter events, and is on the Animal Friends of the Valleys dog walking program. He is an extremely friendly boy and will make sure its owners get off their feet to get moving with him.

Denver is becoming one of the shelter’s longest residents, and the shelter would love to see him in a new home that’s best suited for him. Meet and greets with possible adopting family dogs are welcome with Denver, and he can be cat tested here at the shelter as well.

All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up.

For adoption or fostering, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) at 951-674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Wednesdays open until 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays until 5:00 p.m.). The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.

Low cost vaccinations and $20 microchipping are available by appointment only at AFV’s Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic at 29001 Bastron Ave., Lake Elsinore.
