With COVID-19 restrictions lifted, The Canyon Lake Family Matters Club is ready to bring back the traditional free events it sponsors throughout the year.
The club is looking to start back up its kids crafts days and field trips. The club also wants to return hosting the popular cotillion program.
To put on the events, though, the club needs volunteers to come aboard and help out at all the events.
“We are ready to get back to what we were able to provide,” club founder Shawna Bowen said. “Even though we tried to provide as much as we could during COVID-19 it was just not the same.”
The 501C(3) non-profit club was able to put on Graduating Senior Parades, Flamingo Flocking Fundraisers, Easter Bunny visits, Duck Derby, and many other events during the shutdown.
The club is also looking for a teen coordinator to bring back the club’s Glow Nights for tweens.
