Canyon Lake Woman’s Club paints, sips and mingles

More than 30 Canyon Lake Woman’s Club members enjoyed COVID-19-free restrictions and gathered to paint together and to sip a little wine last week.

To enhance next week’s Independence Day, the task for the night was to each oil paint an American Flag painting. Art Uncorked handled the instruction and the women painted remarkable versions of the target painting.

The Art Uncorked instructor led the group in a step-by-step creation of the paintings. Painters were encouraged to use their own personal creation in deciding what colors and trees to use.

The cost for each club member to participate was $45 and everyone was given a canvas, instruction, appetizers and wine.
