9ers Golf Club crowns President’s Club champion

Tess Welch was named champion of The Canyon Lake 9er’s 2021 President’s Club Tournament after two weeks of golfing. Tess received an engraved plaque to be placed on a wall in the Magnolia Room at the Canyon Lake Country Club.

The top golfers in each of three flights were awarded gift cards to purchase golf items at the Pro Shop by Golf Pro Pat Kemball.

The winners of each flight were: Flight C:  1st Place Rose Girard,  2nd Rita Crocker, 3rd Beth Trinkaus; Flight B:  1st Place Elaine Grady, 2nd Emma Magill, 3rd Carol Paulis and Flight A: 1st Place Alice Giambra, 2nd Kim Robinson, 3rd Kathy Voss.

The 9ers Club’s next golfing event will be “Murder on the Golf Course” on Sept. 23.
