Learn to wakeboard event this weekend

The Canyon Lake Wakeboard Club is providing a unique opportunity for Canyon Lakers to learn how to wakeboard by just throwing on a swimsuit, bringing $20 and showing up. The club will provide everything else.

The Wakeboard Club is hosting “Learn to Ride” this weekend to teach Canyon Lake POA members how to wakeboard and wake surf. The club will have all the gear needed for the sports, including boards and boats. All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate.

This event will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-ups will be at the North Pavilion of the North Ski Area starting at 8:00 a.m.

Registration is $20 per rider, cash only, and a POA card must be presented to register. The registration fee includes a raffle ticket for prizes for which the winner does not need to be present to win.
