Adopt-a-Pet: Fiona

Fiona, a 2-year-old Saint Bernard female, is good with kids, housebroken and very affectionate with her humans.

Fiona needs to be the only animal in the home, as she is wary of both animals and strangers, and can become protective. She needs lots of love and patience; a family that is willing to work with her and understand her is absolutely a must, as it may take a while for her to become accustomed to novel situations.

All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up.

For adoption or fostering, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) at 951-674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Wednesdays open until 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays until 5:00 p.m.). The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.
