Tennis Club sponsor gives out head prizes
The Canyon Lake Tennis Club held its HEAD Demo Day Saturday and participants, many of whom were not members of the club, were awarded prizes.
“It went really well,” Club President Bob Kielty said. “HEAD sports is our main sponsor for tennis rackets, balls, shoes and more. It was terrific having everyone come out. We had about 40-50 people participate.”
The free two-hour event allowed participants to check out the HEAD tennis racquets and meet members of the tennis club.
Participants played in the ‘Hit it to Win It’ and prizes included hats, shirts, a racket, a pickleball paddle and a tennis bag.
The Tennis Club will have its St. Patrick’s Day Tournament on tomorrow (Saturday) at 9:00 a.m. All residents are welcome to come out and watch.
Tournament prizes will be awarded to the highest point team and the highest-scoring man and woman that day.
