Letter: Rat infestation

Editor, The Friday Flyer:

There is a rat Infestation in Canyon Lake. So far in the last five months, I have caught 35 rats in my backyard. Also my neighbors have caught numerous rats, too.

I wonder if this is a problem all over Canyon Lake or just on the east end due to the housing projects going on at Murphy Ranch? I contacted the POA, but they said that they are not responsible for this rat problem.
