North Canyon Lake gets its playground

It’s been a long-time coming, but the north end of Canyon Lake is getting an updated and modern playground. Bulldozers are at work preparing for the installation. As part of the upgrading of Happy Camp, a new playground with the modern design of playgrounds installed recently at Sunset Beach, Holiday Harbor, Indian Beach, and Sierra Park. This project includes replacing the existing playground, adding shade, and installing rubber fall protection on the ground. This new playground will not only make Happy Camp a more attractive family get-away, but it will also provide a much-needed playground for the north side of the community. The project was approved in May last year.
