COVID-19 seminar to help businesses conform

Five emergency Cal/OSHA regulations recently went into effect mandating new workplace controls to protect employees from COVID-19. To assist local businesses in learning how to implement the regulations, the State Fund is offering free seminars on Thursday and Jan. 27.

Participants will learn about each of the five new regulations and these topics:

  1. What information must be included in a business’s written COVID-19 Prevention Program.
  2. New testing requirements when there is workplace exposure to COVID-19.
  3. Mandatory employee isolation and wage continuation requirements after workplace exposure.
  4. Employer requirements in the event of a workplace outbreak.
  5. New safety controls for employer-provided housing or transportation and how to find the State Fund’s COVID-19 Prevention Program template.

Pre-registration is required for these seminars. For questions and registration about this seminar, call (800) 675-2667 or send an email to SafetySeminar@scif.com.
