Makayla Allsberry named Student of the Month

Makayla Allsberry

Makayla Allsberry, a Temescal Canyon senior from Canyon Lake received the November Student of the Month Award for her high school from the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Makayla is in the International Baccalaureate Program at Temescal Canyon and is also involved in the National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation and the IB Club.

“I am really committed to school and challenging myself to be the best I can be,” Makayla said. “My plans after high school are to get into a good college and major in anything that has to do with science.”

Makayla hopes to pursue a career that iinvolves becoming an orthodontist or an anesthesiologist. She plans to eventually attend either medical or dental school based upon what she decides.
