Letter: Cy Peterson’s Miracle from Heaven

Editor, The Friday Flyer

Last Friday, my husband Cy had a very serious fall while out garage saleing. While going down a very steep drive, Cy lost his balance and fell backwards and hit his head on the driveway. He also bruised and cut both elbows, requiring staples. He was transported to the trauma unit at Inland Valley for X-rays on his head. In spite of the very bad fall, they found no damage to his head.

We would like to thank the homeowners for being so helpful, making calls and getting blankets and pillows. There was one woman, an angel, who took control, got Cy situated and calmed him down (even told him he is handsome) until the Canyon Lake fire, paramedics and ambulance came. Our angel never gave us her name and quickly disappeared, as angels often do. We are eternally grateful for her knowledge and diligence.

We’d also like to thank all our friends and well wishes from the TWG. We are happy to say he is doing very well in spite of how serious it could have been.

Ora Peterson
