Joseph P. Concialdi

Joseph P. Concialdi (Joe), 84 years young, passed away unexpectedly on June 21, in Canyon Lake. Joe was born January 11, 1936 in Los Angeles, Calif.

Joe was a devoted husband and father who is survived by his beloved wife Patricia (Pat), their four children: Joseph, David, Angela and Terri; nine grandchildren: Drew, Nicole, Joey, Christopher, Christian, Jacob, Garrett, Aaron, and Jordan; and four great-grandchildren: Ella, Indrid, Levi and Olive. His family was his greatest joy!

Joe was a charismatic textile entrepreneur, who adorned our lives with his original furniture making, upholstery designs and Tadashi dresses. The magic of his creative hands made him an invaluable designer, building and creating original furniture for many prominent clients and businesses. But Joe was so much more than a businessman, he was a good friend to all!

Joe lived an adventurous life, spending many fond years raising his family in Covina and making lifelong friends. Joe and Pat moved to Canyon Lake in 1999 to begin a new chapter in their lives and build their dream home, all the while adding to their circle of friends meeting amazing new neighbors. He enjoyed beautiful days on the lake, story-telling with whomever was around and his dear sweet puppy Sofia. Joe loved our community and his “Bit of Paradise.”

Anyone who knew Joe knew his greatest passion was cooking Italian dinner parties for family and friends while singing along with Frank Sinatra. Joe enjoyed every person he met, turning most into close friends. But nothing came close to the sparkle in Joe’s eyes as when he spoke of his grandkids and great grandkids…they gave him so much joy and they all loved their Papa!

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on July 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn in Covina. Those who would like to pay their respects to the family are welcome to stop by on the Fourth of July at 3:00 p.m. through fireworks.

Joe will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Joe was loved by all he knew…Bon Appetit!
