In Memoriam: John M. Fyffe

John M. Fyffe

John M. Fyffe joined our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 12 in his home with his wife Jean of 66 years and his loving children praying by his side. He was a strong, hardworking man who taught all of his children how to work hard, respect others and love deeply! Dad and Mom showed us with love and understanding the meaning of commitment.

He was born in Ontario, Canada on May 17, 1930 and moved his wife Jean and their two children to Orange County to escape the cold. Then, on the bi-centennial he became a United States Citizen! They had two more children in California and he said, “Now my family is complete.”

We all had a beautiful life on Brookshire Avenue with amazing neighbors and as they became empty nesters we convinced them to move to Canyon Lake. Here they met many new friends, joined the CLAMS and had beautiful days on his pontoon boat on the lake. Dad loved our community and his “Bit of Paradise.”

His greatest passion was his family and playing his piano while singing along with Frank Sinatra. Then came their grandkids and great grandkids…they gave him so much joy and they all loved their Papa! He is survived by his wife Jean, four children and their spouses, 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren with one more on the way!

Dad was loved by all he knew and we know we will see him again! A Celebration of Life will take place the end of the summer. Thank you for all your love and support!
