Renovated Canyon Cowboy re-opens tonight

The Canyon Cowboy Restaurant in the Canyon Lake Town Center, like all restaurants in the state, fell victim to the COVID-19 lockdown and has been closed for the last three months. While some restaurants provided takeout meals, Canyon Cowboy owner Ken Newman used the closure as an opportunity to renovate his restaurant and tweak his business model.

The restaurant reopens tonight.

“The renovations included removing the large stage and adding booths and more comfortable seating,” Ken said. “While there will no longer be nightly live entertainment, there is now a permanent dance floor where deejays will be playing the music.”

With the additional space created by removing the stage, the Canyon Cowboy was able to configure seating in a way that allows more space between tables. It will also be offering bottle service on Friday and Saturday nights which is “something new and interesting for this community,” Ken said.

The Canyon Cowboy will be open for business beginning tonight (Friday) at 5:00 p.m. and a deejay will begin playing at 10:00 p.m.

Reservations can be made on the Canyon Cowboy website, www.canyoncowboy.com. For additional information or questions the restaurant can be contacted via email info@thecanyoncowboy.com or telephone 951-723-2201.

New seating and tables have been installed in the remodeled Canyon Cowboy Restaurant in the Canyon Lake Town Center. The renovated space allows for more capacity and comfortable seating.
