The Family Matters’ Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival next month will be full of games and crafts, face painting, fun and other surprises. The local club is inviting the entire community to its sixth annual Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival April 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Holiday Harbor.
All-inclusive fun bands are $5.00 per child, which will include unlimited games, prizes, crafts, bounce house, face paint, tattoos, photos with the Easter Bunny and the Egg Hunt. There will also be food for purchase from the snack shack as well as miscellaneous booths where vendors will sell various Easter gifts and goodies.
The Easter Egg Hunt Village was extremely popular last year and is back again. This year, each child with a paid wristband will be able to hunt for their eggs at any time they choose without the hassle of large crowds or timed sections. After having their wristband marked to confirm they’ve entered, each child will be able to choose and keep 15 eggs from anywhere in the hunt area.
There will be several grand prize eggs placed inside random eggs hidden throughout the hunt area. Those who find these eggs will take them to the Easter Bunny to receive their prize.
Vendor spaces are still available and cost $45. Those interested in a vendor booth should contact Carmen Cortez at 951-757-4901. Teenagers wanting service hours can apply to volunteer online at familymattersclub.org.
