Poll workers are needed at voting locations throughout Riverside County for the upcoming March 3 primary election. No experience is required, and training will be provided by the Registrar of Voters office. Poll workers may earn up to $125 as Precinct Inspectors or $90 as Precinct Officers.
Poll workers must attend a training class to familiarize themselves with election procedures and prepare to assist voters when the polls open at 7 a.m. on Election Day. Training sessions are scheduled during the day, evenings, and Saturdays. A $20.00 stipend is paid for attending the required training session.
The Riverside County Registrar of Voters is also seeking individuals who are proficient in English and at least one of the following languages: Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or American Sign Language. These individuals will assist voters at the polling places who are not proficient in English.
Anyone who wishes to participate as a poll worker should call the Registrar of Voters office at (951) 486‐7341 or (877) 663‐9906 or visit https://voteinfo.net/EOapp.asp.
