In Memoriam: Jerry Tennery

Jerry Tennery, 81, was born in El Centro, California on July 15, 1938 and died January 16, 2020.

Jerry was a loving soul who liked helping others in need. He belonged to the Tuesday Work Group and the Emergency Preparedness Group. The people he worked with were his friends. His love for music took him to the Canyon Lake Choraleers group where he belonged for years. “Hotel California,” (Eagles Version) was a favorite of his and he sang it well. Being a passionate person with a good heart, he freely gave of himself.

He lived in Japan for 9 years from 1997 to 2006. He worked for Boeing Aircraft and was talented in oil painting and watercolors. He led an extraordinary life where his roots were mainly in Washington State. He leaves all of his Canyon Lake friends, a son and a daughter in Seattle and his long time love, Carmelita. He was loved and will be missed.
