In Memoriam: Yolanda Patricia Nicholas

Yolanda Patricia Nicholas, 71, passed away on Jan. 10, 2020, at her residence in Canyon Lake, California, where she resided with her daughter and family for many years.

Yolanda was born on Mar. 21, 1948, in Benson, Arizona. She was the daughter of Ruben Guerra and Margarita Acuna.

In 1971, Yolanda married James Nicholas III who she spent forty-five plus years with until his unfortunate passing in 2016. Yolanda was the most selfless, loving, giving, wonderful woman who would do anything for the ones she loved. She would do anything for her grandchildren who were her entire world. She loved to spend time with her family and going to Benson, Arizona, to visit her siblings and her lifelong friends who she had met in high school. Yolanda also enjoyed shopping and going to the movies with her daughter and watching football on the weekends with her son and grandsons.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her husband James Nicholas. She is survived by her children James Nicholas and Crystal Coughlin and her siblings Maria, Hector and Ruben. She is also survived by five beautiful grandchildren: James, Caylee, Corbin, Zach and Sydney. Yolanda was an extraordinary woman who will be missed by many.

A Graveside Service will be held at Elsinore Valley Cemetery, 18170 Collier Ave., Lake Elsinore, CA 92530, on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at 12 p.m.
