Audi is an eight-year-old Shepherd mix looking for a companion to love. His caretakers said he enjoys long walks, knows how to sit and is great with other dogs his own size. He can get a bit rowdy when he gets lonely so it would be best for him to have a constant companion to hang out with. Audi is neutered and ready to go to his “fur”ever home. Larry is a playful two-year-old cat looking for a windowsill to call his own. His caretakers said he is sweet, curious, loves attention and will bird-watch for hours. Larry is neutered and ready to go to his “fur”ever home. His reference number is 507985. Reference picture: Larry.

All dog and cat adoption fees include a microchip, basic shelter vaccines (excluding rabies) and a free veterinarian check-up. All cats/kittens, pit bulls and Chihuahua adoptions are just $5 (spay/neuter fees, if applicable, are additional).

For adoption or fostering, contact Animal Friends of the Valleys (AFV) at 951-674-0618. The shelter is located at 33751 Mission Trail in Wildomar. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The shelter offers animals for adoption as well as providing animal control and spay/neuter services.

Low cost vaccinations and $20 microchipping are available seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at AFV’s Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic at 29001 Bastron Ave., Lake Elsinore. Walk-ins are welcome.
