Canyon Laker Rich Dawson enjoyed a recent skydiving adventure in Lompoc, California, with his two grandchildren, 20-year-old Phoenix and 18-year-old Mason.
At age 72, it was the first jump for Rich and his grandchildren. “They trained us before the jump so I wasn’t scared at all,” Rich said.
The trio jumped from the plane at 8,000 feet in 17 degrees weather. “It was super cold but the view was gorgeous,” Rich said. “The jump was exhilarating and something I’d like to do again. Maybe next time I’ll jump with my four kids.”
