Gobble Gobble Tourney winners announced

Fifty-six golfers participated in the Women’s Golf Club Gobble Gobble Jack and Jill Tournament on Nov. 23. Fourteen teams of four played a game where each was assigned to be a Turkey, Pilgrim, Pumpkin or an Indian. The scores of two players were counted on each hole but they did not know which two scores would be used until they arrived at the next hole. The tournament was followed by dinner and awards. Golf Pro Pat Kemball announced the winners as follows:

A Flight

1st place Low Gross: Jim Merritt, Jill Busser, Babette Stubbs and John Stubbs.

1st place Low Net: Mary Leathley, Greg Leathley, Steve McCain and Marilyn Bridges.

2nd place Low Gross: KK Beecher, Marcus Schonabaum, Julie Faia and Tom Faia.

2nd place Low Net: Ed Cortez, Darlene Cortez, Quince Hansen and Anita Fairfield.

B Flight

1st place Low Gross: Jeff Reams, Karen Reams, Nancy Tice and Bob Tice.

1st place Low Net: Bob Clow, Ellie Clow, Steve Spaeth and Cela Hoekstra.

2nd place Low Gross: Terry Voss, Kathy Voss, Kathy Homewood and Mike Homewood.

2nd place Low Net: Ray Stribling, Joanna Bellerive, Linda Kielty and Roger Kielty.
