The POA Board of Directors approved funding in the amount of $18,529.45 plus a 2.5 percent contingency from the CIP Fund for four stationary radar speed signs similar to the ones the City of Canyon Lake installed on Railroad Canyon Road.

The signs will be installed in a way that will allow the POA to remove and replace them in other locations when necessary. Unlike the POA’s mobile radar units, the new radar speed signs will not issue tickets. Their purpose is to slow cars down by making drivers aware when they are driving at speeds above the posted limits.
