Enter your home in Holiday Decorating Contest

Residents who have streetfront holiday decorations are invited to enter the annual Holiday Home Decorating Contest hosted by the Canyon Lake Home Owners Club. This year’s categories are Humorous, Religious, Most Colorful, Best Street, Musical, Traditional and Best Mobile.

To be included in the contest, residents must submit their name, address and category to LaRue at yankee441@verizon.net on or before Dec. 13. The club will only be judging the homes submitted. The winners will receive a doorbell plaque.

Home Owners Club President LaRue McNamara and her trusty elves will be cruising the streets of Canyon Lake to judge the homes on Sunday, Dec. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. Residents who enter the contest are asked to turn on their holiday lights during this time. Waterfront decorations will not be judged.
