Enjoy an afternoon of holiday music Dec. 15

In this busy time of year, as schedules become hectic with decorating, shopping and menu-planning, an afternoon of holiday music will soothe the soul. The “Colors of Christmas” holiday concert presented by the Canyon Lake Choraleers on Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at the lodge will delight Canyon Lakers of all ages.

Tickets are on sale now at Brown Paper Tickets and the POA office. The POA office only accepts checks. General Admission tickets cost $15. VIP and Reserved tickets are sold out.

This family-friendly concert will feature traditional classics alongside newer favorites. The first half of the performance will set the scene of a sparse winter landscape. The second half will burst into color with songs from “Frozen,” “Forever Plaid” and “Home Alone,” as well as a colorful audience sing-along featuring songs such as “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

The ensemble, under the direction of Lorilee Bajema, will be accompanied by Lynda Salina on the piano, Bruce Bonde on the drums, Kylene Evans on the harp and Ron Martel on the bass.

A newly formed Children’s Choir will also perform in both sets. “They are so adorable, you won’t want to miss this,” said Lorilee.

Intermission will feature an opportunity drawing for themed baskets valued at $100 or more.
