9ers Golf Club to host Scholarship Tournament

The 9ers Golf Club invites the public to participate in its 5th annual Scholarship Tournament on Dec. 12. Proceeds go toward scholarships for Canyon Lake student-athletes who will be attending college in 2020.

The format is an 18 hole 3 par stroke play. Players have an opportunity to win a golf cart for a hole-in-one on holes 8 and 11.

The entry fee is $40 for annual members and $60 plus a $10 cart fee for non-annual members. Dinner is included. An additional $30 bundle package will be available.

The tournament starts with registration at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Putting Contest at 11 a.m., a shotgun start at 12 p.m. and dinner, a raffle and a silent auction at 5:30 p.m. Signups are taken at the Golf Pro Shop. The deadline is Dec. 9.

The 9ers Golf Club is a member of the Women’s Southern California Golf Association. Ladies who are interested in playing golf and making new friends are invited to play; all levels of golfers are welcome.
