POA, JWC to host 38th annual Tree Lighting

The POA and Jr. Women’s Club are teaming up to host the 38th annual Tree Lighting Festival at the lodge on Sunday, Dec. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. Join Santa and Mrs. Claus as they light up the lodge tree and kick-off the holiday season.

The Tree Lighting Festival features free holiday entertainment and activities, including dance and musical performances, food vendors, rides, a bounce house and face painting.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be available for photos in the Holiday Bay Room at 6:30 p.m.

The Jr. Women’s Club is collecting toys for its Toy Drive. Participants will receive one raffle ticket for each new, unwrapped toy donated.

The POA advises residents to dress warm as most of the activities will be outdoors. With the exception of service dogs, animals are not allowed on the lodge grounds. The Lighthouse Restaurant and Bar will be open; however, the parking lot may be extra busy during this time.
