Kirsten Ha named Student of the Month

Canyon Lake resident Kirsten Ha is among seven Student of the Month Program honorees feted at a recognition luncheon on Nov. 12.

The 17-year-old Temescal Canyon High School senior has a 4.5 GPA and is the president of the International Baccalaureate Club, National Beta Club and the California Scholarship Federation. She is a member of ASB, the Interact Rotary Club and the Society of Women Engineers, and was a princess in this year’s homecoming court.

Kirsten’s goal after graduation is to attend a UC college and pursue a degree in biological sciences and premedical. Her ultimate goal is to become a physician.

Kristen is the daughter of Kim and Dun Ha. She has one younger sibling, Brianna. The family moved to Canyon Lake three years ago from Seal Beach. They enjoy boating and water sports.

In her spare time, Kirsten volunteers at a non-profit medical clinic and enjoys wakeboarding and playing tennis.

The Student of the Month Program was originally founded in 1992 by Sally Myers, BMW Management, Inc. The Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce is the Lake Elsinore host and sponsor.
