Canyon Lake’s ShowCal Skiers entertain crowd at Car Show

Canyon Lake’s ShowCal Skiers put on an exciting ski show on the main lake for the crowd attending the Car Show on Oct. 5. Among the skiers were national champions Tony Klarich and Diana Sue Parker, Guinness World Record holder Stacy Norred and professional hydrofoiler Kevin Thayer.

Show skiing has been called the most entertaining discipline in the sport of water skiing. It’s fast-moving, exciting, graceful, and most of all, fun to watch. Virtually all aspects of the sport, including barefooting, jumping, slalom, tricks and kneeboarding, are choreographed into one grand performance.
