Woman’s Club to host Witches Afternoon Tea

The Woman’s Club invites women in the community to enjoy afternoon tea with a twist at its 2nd annual Witches Afternoon Tea on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the senior center. Doors open at 11 a.m., tea and lunch will be served at 1 p.m.

The Witches Afternoon Tea features lunch, a no-host bar, palmists, readers and crystal ball gazers for enjoyment, vendors selling themed items and an opportunity drawing for Halloween and Thanksgiving-themed prizes.

The lunch menu consists of sandwiches, quiche, an assortment of French desserts and champagne. Local entertainer Aprile DeAnne will serve as emcee and provide the entertainment during lunch.

Witch costumes are not mandatory but are encouraged. There will be prizes for the Chicest Witch Hat and Most Glamorous Witch Hat. Tickets cost $35 and are available by emailing Chairperson Lyne Hall at lyne@royalbash.com. Seating is limited to 100 women, early ticket purchase is recommended. Proceeds from this event go toward the Woman’s Club philanthropic projects.
