Board approves funding for third speed trailer

The POA Board of Directors approved on Tuesday funding in the amount of $15,183.82 from Capital Improvement for the purchase of a third RU2 radar mobile speed trailer. The trailer will be used to help bring additional attention to speed control throughout the community and assist Community Patrol with issuing tickets for speeders in multiple locations.

Fiscal impact includes $13,561.78 for the trailer, $1,051.04 for sales tax accrual and $571.00 for the trailer registration, for a total cost of $15,183.82.
