As a new councilmember, I am grateful for the mentorship and kind encouragement I received from former Mayor Larry Greene. Leadership is a special skill-set; one Larry demonstrated effortlessly. In his capacity as mayor, I found him to be thorough, well-reasoned, articulate and humble. I will miss sitting next to him on the dais, as he made being a part of the Council interesting. Larry, thank you for your dedication to the City of Canyon Lake, its residents and its future. Thank you for being a friend and role model. You are not easily replaced.
