Annual Pancake Breakfast set for Sept. 22

The community is invited to enjoy a pancake breakfast at Holiday Harbor Park on Sunday, Sept. 22, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Hosted by the Canyon Lake Lions Club, the annual Pancake Breakfast features pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and tea for a $7 per person donation. Children under the age of five eat free with a paid adult. Bloody Marys and Mimosas will be available for purchase for $3 each.

Tickets can be purchased at the park on the day of the event, from any Lions Club member, or by calling Lions President LaRue McNamara at 951-244-6470.

Formed Jan. 23, 1975, the Lions Club is one of the oldest clubs in Canyon Lake. Its members collect used eyeglasses to aid in the organization’s goal to help those with sight problems. The club supports the Lions Clubs International Foundation whose mission is to eradicate blindness and solve major humanitarian challenges worldwide.
