Volunteers display flags around CL golf course

Have you ever wondered where the American flags come from that are displayed around the golf course on patriotic holidays? Approximately 200 flags are displayed around the golf course tees and the country club during the holidays.

The flags are courtesy of Margaret McCoy of Coldwell Banker, who has been donating the flags for many years. Jim Magill, Bob Clow, Randy Bonner and Bob Stinson place the flags around the tees and driving range and Emma Magill places the flags around the country club. Golf Course Superintendent Mark Lauder and his crew pick them up following the holiday.
