Pickleball Club hosts clinic for CL juniors

The Pickleball Club hosted a Pickleball Clinic for Canyon Lake kids ages nine to 15 on June 17, 18 and 19. More than 15 juniors attended. The three-night clinic consisted of two nights of lessons and one night of instructional free play.

Jeannette Williams, Diane Libring, Paul Robles, Tom Garcia and Mike Hoke served as instructors.

Sharlise Contreras, Darin Harris and Graham Castillo won new paddles donated by club members.

The Pickleball Club welcomes beginners and regular players for social play Monday through Friday from 8 to 10 a.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. A Twilight Social Mixer for club members is held monthly on the third Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m. For more information, visit the club’s Facebook page at Canyon Lake Pickleball or email clpickleball951@gmail.com.
