Community enjoys free concert at amphitheater

Canyon Lakers and their guests gathered at Holiday Harbor Park on Saturday evening for a free concert featuring the dance cover band Siren’s Crush and Canyon Lake’s Makayla Phillips, a semi-finalist on the “America’s Got Talent” television show.

The concert was sponsored by the POA and held in celebration of the completion of the new amphitheater. Approximately 500 people enjoyed the show from the amphitheater and in boats in the water.

The community is invited back to the amphitheater for two more free concerts this summer. The Canyon Lake Fine Arts Guild is sponsoring a Jimmy Buffett tribute concert on June 29 and a Rolling Stones tribute concert on Aug. 10.
