All invited to CLAA Art Show on Saturday

The Canyon Lake Art Association invites the community to its annual Art Show tomorrow, May 18, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the senior center. Admission is free.

The show features the works of local artists specializing in painting, drawing, digital art, photography and other types of arts, art for sale, a raffle, a silent auction and light refreshments.

Formed in 1976, the Canyon Lake Art Association is a non-profit organization with the primary purpose of promoting, understanding and appreciation of the visual arts in the community, encouraging advance study in the field of art and providing exhibits and programs for local artists.
Meetings are held September through June on the fourth Monday at 7 p.m. at the senior center and are highlighted with demonstrations and/or paintings. Annual membership is $10. Membership is open to individuals ages 18 and older. For more information, contact Joanie Evarts at 951-454-0833.
