Catch of the day

Fishing is “crazy good right now for smaller fish,” according to Sal Gervasi, who caught “fish all over the lake” while fishing with his son Mike. The fish were caught on Apr. 8 while Mike was visiting from Oregon. Plastic lures were used for bait. “The fish were only about two pounds but they are all over the shallows spawning currently,” said Sal.

Sal is a member of the Canyon Lake Bassmasters Club and fishes several times a month.
