Men’s Golf Club to host President’s Cup

The Men’s Golf Club will kick off its President’s Cup on Saturday, Apr. 13. The entry fee is $20; cart and green fees are not included. The tournament is limited to the first 64 players who sign up and pay the entry fee. Signups are taken at the Golf Pro Shop. The registration deadline is Apr. 10.

The schedule is as follows:

Apr. 13: Start of President’s and Vice President’s Cup

Apr. 13 through Apr. 20: 2nd round, 32 players

Apr. 21 through Apr. 27: 3rd round, 16 players

Apr. 28 through May 4: 4th round, 8 players

May 5 through May 11: 5th round, 4 players

May 12 through May 19: Playoff

Members of the Men’s Golf Club meet for play every Wednesday morning. Signups are taken between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. in the Magnolia Room at the country club. In addition to Wednesday games, the club sponsors eight major tournaments throughout the year. Dues include membership in the Southern California Golf Association.

Canyon Lake residents and property owners age 18 and older and any member of the public who purchases an outside annual golf membership are eligible to join the club.
