The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses and individuals organized to encourage a strong local economy and quality of life by promoting and advancing the community, civic, cultural and educational development of the Canyon Lake area, while providing a valuable forum for issues affecting local commerce and the general well-being of the community.

Meet the POA Candidates

The chamber is hosting “Meet the Candidates” on Tuesday, Apr. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the country club. Seating is limited. Residents are invited to meet the POA candidates and learn where they stand on issues.

New Members

The chamber welcomes new members Anderson Chevrolet, California Coast Credit Union, California-Motor Sports, Chase Bank, Kristine Gonzales, Driver’s Choice Insurance Agency, Nothing Bundt Cakes Menifee and the Urban Craft Eatery.

Toastmasters Club

The chamber’s Toastmasters Club meets every Tuesday from 12:05 to 1:05 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Canyon Lake City Hall. The group works on public speaking and leadership skills. For more information, call Mike Irvin at 951-660-6794.

Membership

Membership opportunities are available to both businesses and individuals. Membership benefits include opportunities to network one’s business, business referrals, new member recognition in The Friday Flyer, ribbon-cuttings, sponsorship opportunities and more.

Board of Directors

The 2019 Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are Matthew Svendsen, president; Debby Gagnon; secretary, Jennie Ehrenkranz, treasurer; Dolores Badillo, director; Mike Irvin, director; Jeanne O’Dell, director; Ria Riley, director; and Jim Randle, director. The directors were installed on Jan. 27. Riverside County 1st District Supervisor Kevin Jeffries and Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez administered the Oath of Office.
