CL students invited to apply for scholarships

The Jr. Women’s Club is offering scholarships to Canyon Lake high school seniors who plan to continue their education after graduation. Continuing education can be in the form of four-year or two-year universities, vocational schools, institutes and academies. Private school students are welcome to apply.

Applications are available through high school counselors at Temescal Canyon High School, Elsinore High School, Lakeside High School, Santa Rosa Academy and Cornerstone Christian School. Applications also are available on the club’s website at canyonlakejwc.org and by emailing Shannon Anderson at avalon.monroe@gmail.com. Applications are due by Friday, Apr. 12.

The Jr. Women’s Club is a philanthropic group of women whose primary focus is on the youth of Canyon Lake. The organization has awarded more than $50,000 in scholarship money over the past 10 years.
