Friends, family gather to honor Canyon Laker Sally Wedehase

Friends and family members of Canyon Lake resident Sally Wedehase came to together to celebrate her life on Jan. 12 at the country club. Sally passed away on Dec. 10, 2018.

In honor of Sally, those in attendance wore funny glasses. Sally had a vast collection of unique glasses, including one for every holiday, and would often wear them to the club events she attended.

Sally and her husband Don were married for 46 years. The couple moved to Canyon Lake in 2001. Sally was a member of the Woman’s Club, Yacht Club and Travel Club and could always be counted on to help with club activities.

“It was a beautiful celebration for a wonderful, lovely friend,” said Woman’s Club President Bonnie Wade.
