Golfers wanted for TCHS fundraiser


Temescal Canyon High School baseball team is seeking golfers to participate in its golf tournament fundraiser Nov. 12 at the Canyon Lake Country Club. Registration is $100 per golfer and $30 per individual dinner. Tee sponsorship is $100. Payment can be made via PayPal at

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. followed by a continental breakfast from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., shotgun scramble at 11 a.m., social hour at 3:30 p.m. and an award banquet at 4:30 p.m.

Awards categories include first place team, last place team, longest drive (men and women divisions), closest to the pin, furthest to the pin, putting contest and hole-in-one.

Proceeds from this event will help to pay for this year’s expenses for varsity, junior varsity and freshmen teams. Expenses include baseballs, uniforms, field equipment and upgrades, tournament fees, supplies for the snack shack and more.

Another way to support the team is by having dinner at Wendy’s, 29275 Central Ave., Lake Elsinore on Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. Mention TCHS baseball team and the team will receive a percentage of the sale.

From now until Nov. 12, mention Temescal Canyon High School baseball team or Team B when you eat at Buffalo Wild Wings, 30123 Haun Rd., Menifee, and 10 percent will go back to the program.
