Is your home sporting frightfully fun decorations?

It’s that time of year again when Canyon Lake homes will be sporting goblins, tombstones, spider webs and other ghoulish decorations for Halloween. Is your home sporting spooktacular or frightfully fun Halloween decorations?

Let residents know about your home by submitting to The Friday Flyer a photo, your address and a brief description of your Halloween decorations, whether it’s an amazingly decorated front yard, haunted maze, light show, scary props or haunted house. The Friday Flyer will feature these homes in an upcoming issue so residents know where to see some of the best-decorated homes in Canyon Lake. Email submissions to news@goldingpublications.com.

  • The Moore family invites residents to stop by to see their pirate-themed decorations at 30021 Clear Water Dr.
  • Brandon and Kelly Orth invite residents to stop by 30148 Skipjack Dr. to see their spectacular light show consisting of a chorus of singing pumpkins, eerie ghosts and tombstones that come to life. “The show features custom built props and musical sequences that cannot be seen anywhere else in the country,” said Brandon. “All the lights and decorations are sequenced to music for an unforgettable show.”

The first light show will begin tomorrow, Oct. 13, and will run Sundays through Thursdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Visitors should bring an FM radio; Smartphone apps such as IHeartRadio, Spotify and Pandora will not work. There will be a special show on Halloween and a radio is not required.

Brandon and Kelly ask that visitors be respectful of their neighbors and keep the volume to a minimum in the later hours of the evening.
