Meet director, cast of ‘Breaking Legs’ movie

Residents are invited to spread their blankets and chairs out at Indian Beach tonight, Sept. 21, for the POA’s Movie Night in the Park. The featured movie is “Breaking Legs” and it starts at dusk.

The movie’s director and some of its  cast will be at this event hosting a raffle with prize giveaways.

“Breaking Legs” has been described as “Footloose” meets “Mean Girls.” A high school freshman moves to a town where there’s no place to dance except the school dance team.

When the boyfriend of the team’s lead girl falls for her, she has to fight to win her place among the mean girls.

“Breaking Legs” is 98 minutes and rated PG.
