A rainbow of classic cars sporting shiny reds, yellows and blues will dominate the lodge grounds for the 13th annual Car Show on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is sponsored by the Canyon Lake Car Club and POA and will feature hundreds of pre-1977 classic and custom cars and trucks, awards, music, more than 30 food and merchandise vendors, silent auction and prize drawings. Awards will be presented at 2 p.m. There will not be a dinner dance or a lake cruise this year.

Car registration is $25 and includes a logo T-shirt, goody bag and a commemorative magnetic dash plaque. To register, mail the registration form and $25 (payable to Canyon Lake Car Club) to CLCS PMB 410, 31566 Railroad Canyon Rd., Canyon Lake, California, 92587. As a nonprofit organization, the Car Show donates all its profits to various groups and causes in and outside Canyon Lake. It has given funds to the Canyon Lake Veterans Memorial, Canyon Lake Emergency Preparedness Committee, charity golf tournaments, college scholarships and park benches at the lodge, to name a few.
