Chamber seeking Parade of Frights sponsors

The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce is seeking sponsors for its upcoming 26th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Canyon Lake Towne Center. This event brings out hundreds of costumed kids for a morning of trick-or-treating at more than 30 businesses in the Towne Center. Registration begins at 9 a.m. in front of City Hall. This event features trick-or-treating, costume contests, costume parade, carnival games, music and a special appearance by Storm Stadium’s mascot Thunder.

The chamber is also seeking non-food vendors for the 8th annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 4 to 9 p.m. in the Towne Center.

The Oktoberfest features music by the American Bavarian Brass Band, food, beer and wine garden, kids zone, carnival games, vendors and beer drinking (non-alcoholic), stein holding, hot dog eating and yodeling contests.
