CL Torah Club to host viewing of RBG

The Canyon Lake Torah Club is hosting a viewing of the 2018 documentary RBG, the life story of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. at New Hope Church, 31542 Railroad Canyon Rd., Suite 1, Canyon Lake.

Eighty-five-year-old Justice Ginsburg is best known for becoming the second woman ever to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. The documentary examines her life and career, often centering in on her passionate work on equal rights between genders. The documentary is 98 minutes and is rated PG for thematic elements and language.

Admission is a $5 donation to the Torah Club which will be used toward the Chanukah Party and Passover Seder.

Canyon Lake Torah Club President Sherry Beth Reiter said a donation will also be made to the Riverside County Professional Firefighters and Sheriff’s Memorial Funds. Seating is limited to 150 people. Refreshments will be offered for sale.
