The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses and individuals organized to encourage a strong local economy and quality of life by promoting and advancing the community, civic, cultural and educational development of the Canyon Lake area while providing a valuable forum for issues affecting local commerce and the general well-being of the community.

Oktoberfest
The chamber invites the community to celebrate the 7th Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Canyon Lake Towne Center parking lot. This popular community event will feature traditional food, beer and wine garden, live music, a kids zone, contests, carnival games and vendors.
Contests include Beer Drinking (non-alcoholic), Hot Dog Easting and Yodeling. Meet Steve Harvey’s Funderdome winner Chef Anton with his 33-in-1 Bean Bagglz Tossing Game that’s fun for all ages.

Parade of Frights
The Chamber will host the 25th annual Parade of Frights on Saturday, Oct. 28 with registration beginning at 9 am in front of city hall in the Towne Center.
This historic community event features costumed children trick-or-treating at more than 30 Towne Center businesses using the chamber’s “Treasure Map.” Participating business will stamp the map and hand out treats.
Completed maps are entered for a prize drawing. Lake Elsinore Storm mascot “Thunder” will lead the costume contest parade in front of city hall. This event will also feature bounce houses, carnival games and a DJ. For sponsorship information, contact the chamber office at 951-244-6124.
Toastmasters Club
Overcome the fear of public speaking with Toastmasters. The Canyon Lake Chamber of Commerce Toastmasters Club meets every Tuesday from 12:05 to 1:05 p.m. in the Council Chamber at city hall.
Its mission is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. The group works on public speaking and leadership skills.
