Pickleball court construction underway at East Port Park

Construction started last week to install four permanent pickleball courts in the lower level parking lot at East Port Park. The project has a 60 to 90 day timeline. Residents are asked to follow posted signage and fencing during construction.

This project has been in the works for several years due to the growing popularity of pickleball within the community. Tennis Court No. 6 has been converted to accommodate two pickleball courts until the new courts are completed.

The Canyon Lake Pickleball Club Social Play days are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 8 to 10 a.m. and 6 to 10 p.m.; open play is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 to 10 a.m. Social Mixers are held monthly on the third Thursday from 6 to 10 p.m.
